Official welcome to Warden Park

Warden Park welcomed a group of 14 visitors from Karlstadt, Cuckfield's twin town in Germany, to school earlier this month.  The visit was organised by Cuckfield European Association as part of their twinning activities.

Over a cup of coffee with Headteacher Steve Johnson and other Warden Park teaching staff, the visitors were able to discuss similarities and differences between school systems in the two countries before being taken on a tour of Warden Park's impressive facilities by the Head Boy and Head Girl.  A number of teachers from schools in Karlstadt were amongst the group and they welcomed the opportunity to sit in on a German lesson at Warden Park.

As Specialist School in languages, Warden Park is keen to develop links with schools in Germany, France and Spain to help students develop their language skills.
