Stunning Result for Able Mathematicians

Our accelerated maths class took their maths GCSE last November.  Students are thrilled by the results with 85% gaining an A* at GCSE and the remainder being awarded with an A grade.  This is slightly better than last year's excellent result.  Congratulations to all the students for this outstanding achievement.  Particular thanks to Mr Pyle who had prepared the group so well for their exam.  The class has moved beyond GCSE to start their course on 'Modelling with Calculus'.  This is an AS level equivalent course which is an excellent preparation for those students considering economics, science or mathematics at A level.

Accelerated learning for able students occurs in mathematics, modern languages, English and drama and is part of Warden Park's commitment to the needs and aspirations of our most gifted students.
