Leavers' Ball 2009

Year 11 Ball 2009

This year's leavers' ball was held on Thursday 2nd July 2009 at the Norfolk Pavilion, South of England showground in Ardingly.

The evening's events began at 18.45. Students arrived in glorious sunshine on a hot summer's night between 18.45 and 1900hrs in various forms of transport from limo's to fire engines, tractors, etc. They were met at the door by their friends and parents, taking lots of photos to record such a momentous occasion. Complimentary non-alcoholic drinks were served on arrival. All students were required to book in for safety reasons before proceeding to the pavilion for a photo in all their finery. The three-course banquet was followed by speeches by Mr Johnson and two students from the yearbook Team, Anisha Mistry and Anna Collier, before dancing the night away to music provided by a highly recommended Sussex DJ. Dress code was formal with full evening gowns or smart cocktail dresses for the ladies and dinner jackets/lounge suits for the gents. Staff were on hand at all times to monitor the evening's activities and assist with any queries/ emergencies if required.

We hope all our students had a most enjoyable evening and took away some happy memories with them before moving on to further education.
